It’s Time For Hillary

This article just makes me giggle:

When Harry Truman and Lyndon Johnson accepted the reality that they could not effectively govern the nation if they sought re-election to the White House, both men took the moral high ground and decided against running for a new term as president. President Obama is facing a similar reality—and he must reach the same conclusion.

He should abandon his candidacy for re-election in favor of a clear alternative, one capable not only of saving the Democratic Party, but more important, of governing effectively and in a way that preserves the most important of the president’s accomplishments. He should step aside for the one candidate who would become, by acclamation, the nominee of the Democratic Party: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Ba haa haa … Hillary Clinton has been rather unremarkable as Secretary of State. Iran, anyone?

Having unique experience in government as first lady, senator and now as Secretary of State, Mrs. Clinton is more qualified than any presidential candidate in recent memory, including her husband. Her election would arguably be as historic an event as the election of President Obama in 2008.

Clearly, the writer of this article is on drugs.

Obama doesn’t care about governing the nation effectively; he’s intent on destroying it.

If by “historic”, you mean a double kick to the nation’s groin after it was dropped to the ground after being waylaid from behind, then yes.

These are unserious idiots who imagine that the future implications are far more important than the present incompetence.

Sad to say, but she would be an improvement. That’s the low bar of expectations talking, though.

I’m not so sure Jay. She has much the same pedigree ,outlook and goals as Barry.

That she might be considered an improvement would only be in the sense that she would not have a super majority congress behind her. But that will be true about whoever is the next president.

In my estimation, had she won in 2008, we would be right where we are.

SHe is just as socialist as Barry. The only difference is that she wouldn’t have the RACIST-deflon coating.

If she had advocated healthcare, which she did in the 90′, it was opposed by racists and nonracists alike.
