This is exaclty the mentality I was mentioning in comments

Elizabeth Warren on what we owe each other:

“There is nobody in this country who got rich on his own — nobody! You built a factory out there? Good for you. But I want to be clear. You moved your goods to market on the roads the rest of us paid for. You hired workers the rest of us paid to educate. You were safe in your factory because of police-forces and fire-forces that the rest of us paid for. You didn’t have to worry that marauding bands would come and seize everything at your factory — and hire someone to protect against this — because of the work the rest of us did.

It is this kind of backward thinking that is leading our country right now. That “the rest of” don’t count the 47% who don’t pay federal income taxes. Underlying social contract?

Dear Elizabeth Warren, the guy who opens the hugely successful factory, hires a bunch of folks who are then able to be taxpayers like the factory owner. His “contribution” and underlying social contract to each other was to provide a JOB. If you would like people to continue to invest their own money -at risk – to provide jobs and technology and stuff, I think it would be a bad idea to tax them too much.

Thanks!

And the “social contract(?)” for the 49% who pay no taxes? The taxpayers pay cops and ambulances to chase and clean up after their carnage. Welfare recipients are railing against taking drug tests to get free cash, housing, Medicare etc..while I have to suffer the “indignity” of taking the same test to keep my job, to support their criminal behavior.
What “social contract” do the 49%ers have? Seriously. Would it be asking too much for them not to rob/steal/deal & breed like crazy? The TV show COPS isn’t filmed @ productive places of employment, is it? I say they have an obligation to be at least civil, law abiding and possibly grateful for the people who pay taxes.

  2. So because people who already pay their ‘fair share’ of the cost of things that government is supposed to be doing then work their asses off to provide opportunities for those around them and as well as for their own families now aren’t paying their fair share because they have more than those who aren’t creating those opportunities (or even taking advantage of them)?

    1. She gets a FAIL! for her understanding of Paine.

    2. She gets a FAIL! for not understanding that we don’t “educate” these workers so they can serve society. We “educate” them so they aren’t a burden on society.

    Dumb Bint.

In communism they educated them to serve society.

Of course, she is also completely wrong about those roads. You know how much “extra” in taxes truckers pay for their added burden to that road? They DO pay, not “the rest of us.”

Of course she, and the rest of the nodding, clapping, zombie crowd don’t prolly work in the real world either.

  4. The real world? She’s part of the political class, you silly prole. She helps to shape and define the real world, because she is smarterer than you, you ignorant prole! Know your place, before the state has to remind you!
