What he says/what he does

Obama expends a lot of hot air regarding his concern for the middle class, but we only need to look at the effect his policies have on the middle class to know the real story.

Gas prices – up.
Health care cost – up.
College tuition – up.
Food – up.

All these factors hit the middle class – those who actually pay for these things –hardest. The poor have many of these things subsidized, and the rich are much less effected by the rising of these marginal costs for them.

As Obama understands all too well, one of the hallmarks of all socialist countries is the absence of an independent middle class. From the Bolshevik experiment in Russia to socialist Venezuela today, it is necessary for communist leaders to eliminate that class of citizens who are not dependent on government for their welfare.

Political theorists from Aristotle to Locke understood that a truly independent and prosperous middle class was essential to the collective well-being of any society. The middle class has always, in every society, been characterized by qualities of social restraint and economic realism — a shrewd and skeptical conservatism that serves to restrain the grandiose plans of utopian revolutionaries and embittered reactionaries alike.

But, I’m just being a conspiracy theorist.

Obama, and his minions, are using class warfare to attack “the rich”, but what will happen is that the truly rich will simply take their toys and hide them. The non-rich, those making under $400,000, those are the people who are under attack.

Bill Gates will be fine.

    Let me be perfectly clear.
George Bush should be impeached for starting a war without a direct threat to….
    OOPS! Can I unsay that?

  2. Vmaximus Says:

I find it ironic in so many ways, that the anti war nominee BO, Is so quick to start a war. After all that warmonger Bush only had 14 United Nations Resolutions authorizing war, not to mention Congressional approval!

Mr anti war ink was barely dry on the 1 UN Resolution condemning Qadaffi. (QGor K)?

  3. Vmaximus Says:

Oh I forgot, has congress authorized anything?
